Cycle of Violence – Episode #4 – Rated NC-17

Violence. It’s cyclical.

If you witnessed it as a child, chances are you’ll abuse or be abused.

Many abusers don’t abuse often, they cycle through a long process of repentance, tension building, and back into abuse again.

Other abusers are not repentant.

Some abusers have killed their spouses. Others seriously injure their partners. And countless more tear down their life partners and get them to buy into a defeated mentality.

Violence is also alive and well in the Church.

This podcast delves into a little of that and much more with guest Becky Henderson, former International Justice Mission staffer who is currently working at the East Texas Crisis Center. You’ll also enjoy a brief encouragement from special guest Mark Driscoll who frankly tells us what he thinks about men who abuse.
